FAQ
DAHLIA TUBER SALE INFO
SHIPPING: Shipping (US only) is a flat rate of $15 per order. I will AUTOMATICALLY combine orders if they are being shipped to the same name and address. Refunds for combined shipping will take place when shipping happens in early spring so you can continue to shop up until April 1 when the tuber store closes down.
LIMITED VARIETIES If an item has a limit, that is per household. If orders are placed that do not honor the limit I will cancel that entire order.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR CART: An item placed in your cart does not mean that item is reserved. Your order is only confirmed once you checkout and receive an order confirmation number and email.
It is possible that some varieties may sell out before you are able to checkout. I understand this can make the buying process stressful and frustrating, but I will combine shipping orders and refund shipping if you make multiple purchases before the orders ship in early spring.
CANCELLATIONS: Dahlia tuber orders may be cancelled within 7 days or the order being placed, but all cancelled orders will be charged a 20% restocking/processing fee. After 7 days, all sales are final
THE NITTY GRITTY
All dahlia tubers I sell are grown in my garden in Andover, MA
Each listing is for ONE tuber.
All tubers will be shipped with at least one visible eye. I also label each dahlia tuber with the exact name or an abbreviation.
Please inspect your tubers upon arrival and contact me at andoverblooms@gmail.com within 1 week of your order arriving if you have any concerns. I practice sanitization between cutting each plant and any plants that are suspected of disease are culled. As with anything in nature, once a plant goes into the ground it is susceptible to bug pressure, rot, virus/disease. Andover Blooms is not responsible for tubers once they are in your possession.
Once your tubers arrive, please make sure to properly store them until they are ready to be planted. If you purchase tubers in the fall, then you will need to store them until spring planting. Store dahlias at 40-50 degrees with around 70-85% relative humidity but DO NOT let them freeze since that will kill them. Andover Blooms is not responsible for tubers that are not properly stored. My preferred methods for storage are the saran wrap method and vermiculite in plastic bins but research what is best for your storage conditions.
Colors may vary based on computer screens. Dahlias can also throw slightly different colors depending on sunlight, soil health, and temperature.
Andover blooms is not responsible for dahlia tubers once they are delivered. It is your responsibility to properly store your tuber until planting and provide adequate growing conditions. Andover Blooms is not responsible for rot or poor growth - you can blame mother nature ;)
